Okay, so just to clarify, I'm not talking anything cheese related here. I just can't help but think of that creepy Cheetos Cheetah every time I think of leopard (yes I know these are two completely different animals) print things! You can thank me later for this next image, now you will be thinking of this guy too when someone mentions cheetah or leopard animal print somewhere.

Seriously though, I have always shied away from using leopard because of the cheesy (silly not actually cheese flavored obviously) prints I've seen that are faux fur and super gaudy looking. But, there is always an exception to my thinking, that's why no one will ever be able to figure me out. I just specified a pretty tame (as tame as it can be) linen leopard print in one of my latest projects and I must say I even surprised myself a little on that option. It's a pretty small space with not a whole lot in it and I wanted an eye catching fabric without going crazy colorful or neon. It's amazing how subtle and chic leopard prints can look when they're done in moderation.
So after much after thought I still feel the same way. It can be cheesy a lot of the time but it seems the designers know how to do it right. What do you think?
