Bring 'Em Out, Bring 'Em Out!

I never believed it when I was a teenager but its true; everything comes back into style.  Okay so maybe not everything, you can leave your mullet cut behind and not bring it back (I think everyone will agree on that one)!  But in some form or another almost everything comes back around.

For all of you that just stashed stuff away 50 years ago, or know someone that did, nows the time to bring those guys out!  Vintage treasures look fab in an updated transitional space and add a sense of personality to the room.  The best part, if you talk to the right people, all those old pieces have a very interesting story to go with them.  

Frame Grandma's brooches, they are much too pretty to hide in a drawer!

Calling all sparkling brooches, well traveled suitcases, antique chairs, worn and torn books, old tins, etc.... the list goes on and on.  Dust those guys off and put them on display, if you're gonna keep it you may as well enjoy it too!  

I too love the lived in look of vintage accents, I just don't like to hang on to things.  The great part, I know lots and lots of people who do like to keep stuff, that means all the benefits without the basement piled full of stuff!
