The last wedding I went to had these adorable DIY string globes hanging over the dance floor and this picture popped into my head immediately. The simplest looking party table decked out in white and topped off with a slew of Maskros pendant lights (I've always called it the dandelion light) from Ikea. Could this picture be any prettier?!
Some things from Ikea just work and this is definately one of them. A statement piece in the simplest form, and although big the lightweight organic nature of the pendant allows it to sneak in with a number of designs.
Here it is making a glamorous entrance painted in gold. What a difference, and it totally works with this more rustic chic setting.
And then of course there's the Young House Love master bedroom. This room has seen numerous transitions but the light has been the star of the show through them all. I can't wait to see where it shows up next in the blogosphere. Do you have the perfect spot in your home for it, where would it go?
