I have yet to do anything to update my kitchen, except replace appliances as they die of course. But I think the time to start on that massive project is drawing near. Let's shoot for end of the summer. The cabinets need painting, a backsplash needs to be picked, and I eventually need to get some hardware put on the doors and drawers. Lots of things to change, but for now I can't get my mind off the millions of backsplash options. I love white subway tile, but with so many choices, I can't say I've made up my mind on that quite yet. I could use the tile and change the pattern..
or go shiny and stainless...

...eek! Who even knows where my mind will end up in a few months.
If I had to choose now I'd go bold and patterned but I like to chicken out at the last minute and will probably stick with something textured and neutral. How about you?
